Hey yall, I recently just upgraded from a 2016 Mustang Ecoboost to a 2018 Mustang GT! On my ecoboost, on cold start, my Oil pressure psi was around 80-100. Now on my GT it usually reads around 40psi on cold start. Is there normal? I know GTs are known to have oil consumption issues, but over all my GT runs great!

I have a 2018 and when I first start it I believe it goes over 40PSI but I have not paid much attention lately, I just remember thinking that it really goes high on cold starts. I have almost 70K miles on mine and have not had any oil consumption problems out of the ordinary. If I had to guess I may put a half-quart in every 1K miles or more.

Hmm, mine likes to stay at around 20-25psi at warm. I’m running 5w-30
