Does anyone know if US spec aftermarket CAI are compatible with out RHD cars?
Has anyone tried fitting them?

Apparently they all are, no difference in fitting, position or connectors.

What CAI are most people going with? I'm probably going to go for one that doesn't require a tune initially to get some gains. The BBK or Steeda seem to fit this at a decent price.

I installed a Roush kit in mine, it fitted perfectly. I'm really happy with it, combined with the exhaust it sounds wicked, looks good and has improved throttle response.

Nice to hear WILDB...I think I will be doing the same....

Did you remove the sound tube?

I did, yes. The Roush kit doesn't have provision for the sound tube and actually has a blanking grommet included. The sound tube is a real prick to remove unless you're under the car, an unfortunate side effect of the battery being there instead of the brake master cylinder.

Just putting my 2c

I have the JLT CAI painted to match the car, ready to go... as this requires a tune, I will not be fitting it to my car straight away. Will more than likely wait until the first service or two.... and then make a decision whether to hold on to warranty for a while or go ahead with CAI and Tune, at that time.

Best looking CAI on the market.
