The fully forged long block might be part of the reason

Also, this might or might not be used in the cobra jet mustang. That could really be related if true. :shrug:

Like many others, you can run a similar setup for much cheaper. Since you already have the 5.0 which already has Cobra Jet intake cams, just add the 2.9L Whipple and headers.
