I will have results this friday for stage 3 cams, gt-350 intake and tb, arh longtubes and 3" exhaust, jlt intake and 5c converter. Adam at Rev auto says my car is the 1st car he will tune with /stage 3 cams and the gt-350 intake and tb. I was gonna get ported heads with big valves but decided i can do that at a later date. I will be happy with 475 rwhp and 400 rw Torque on 93 pump gas with octane booster. Car should scream...the whole shop is excited to see the results.
I'm looking forward to the results! I'm thinking about doing cams when I do my GT350 manifold and supporting mods since they'll be right there. Please let us know how it runs!

That aint all its also getting a dyno tech ds, 47lb injectors, ford performance half shafts, opgs and a full steeda suspension including a stop the hop kit.
And 2pt g brace..i sold my previous vehicle for good coin so I'm able to do it all at once! Its better this way cause its easier for Adam to work his magic on the dyno tune.
D*MN!!! That's a lot of sh*t going on there. I'm sure you'll like the Steeda suspension goodies, I know I do.

There are some serious NA setups in here. A few of you are likely getting close to the maximum performance the Coyote can make without FI.

Hey Niz, are you saying you've seen some stats of the Comps stage 3 yielding 30whp?

I was reading on s v t. Plus comp mentioned 60hp-70hp flywheel gain so that's about 30who or so. Don't get me wrong even 30who is good amount but for the work involved well for me is not worth it.

Theres a difference between the 11-14 stage 3 cams and the 15-17 cams in fact the 15-17 cams make more power:

HOME2015-2017 MUSTANG S550ENGINECOMP CAMS 2015-2016 MUSTANG COYOTE CR SERIES N/A (STAGE 3) 243440
COMP CAMS 2015-2016 MUSTANG COYOTE CR SERIES N/A (STAGE 3) 243440

Comp Cams 2015-2016 Mustang Coyote CR Series N/A (Stage 3) 243440
Comp Cams 2015-2016 Mustang Coyote CR Series N/A (Stage 3) 243440
Comp Cams 2015-2016 Mustang Coyote CR Series N/A (Stage 3) 243440

Comp Cams 2015 and Up Coyote CR Series Camshaft - Max effort street/strip - 2000-7500 RPM Range.

Features & Benefits:
• New lobes feature faster ramps, more lift & more area under the lift curve than previous Coyote cams
• Work w/ stock valve springs & new Ford mid-lock phaser system w/out requiring limiters or phaser mods
• 3 Grinds are available for N/A engines & 2 for boosted applications so there are options for nearly all vehicles
• All CR Series cams are no-springs-required for easy install; two upgrade spring kits are available

COMP Cams® 2015 Ford Mustang Coyote CR Series Camshafts are the first new cam and core series for 2015 and later Coyote engines. New lobes improve upon the 2011-2014 XFI™ Camshaft Series and feature faster ramps, more lift and more area under the lift curve. The cams work with stock 2015 valve springs and the new Ford mid-lock phaser system without requiring limiters or any other phaser modifications. Three grinds are available for naturally aspirated engines with two designed specifically for blower applications. All are no-springs-required for easily installation in the vehicle. However, two spring kits (part nos. 26113 and 26125) are available for those that would like more spring with high boost or who really want to push RPM limits. COMP Cams® 2015 Ford Mustang Coyote CR Series Camshafts are the absolute best way to unlock the power potential of the brand new Coyote engine. They are also available for 2011-2014 Ford Coyote applications.

*NOTE: These cams are for 2015 and newer Coyote engines ONLY.

Cam Specs
RPM Range: 2000-7500
Duration @.050": 235* I / 237* E
Valve Lift: .516" I / .514" E
Lobe Separation Angle: 131*

Will be interesting to see your results. But with the sh*t load of other things you're doing, it may be hard to pinpoint the cam numbers.

60-70 crank hp assuming normal 15% driveline loss for a manual car is 51-59whp. Auto cars would be a tad less like 47-55 or so.

Comp also makes a set of more aggressive cams that require springs and VVT lockouts. You can get them through MMR. The stage 1 MMR cams are the Comp stage 3 cams.

I went with the MMR stage 2 cams along with a valvetrain build. We're expecting 580-600 whp on E85. The car made right at 500 on 93 right before we took it down for the cam install.

Also, to answer why the s197 cams will not fit:

- Bank angles on the heads are different, causing valve placement to be different.
- S550 cam phasers are sized differently, as well.

I found this out the hard way when comp ground my cams on the wrong cores.

I'm sure we'll be able to get it to work... If not, an AEM standalone is not that much more considering what I've invested so far.

Come to think of it, I've seen a few higher powered yotes with the sensors capped. I'd imagine they're only capped, because they're running lockouts.

The new cams should be here this week, so hopefully we'll be tuning this weekend.
