Excited to see these two installs, have the same setup as Dominant1 except a ported GT350 mani and a 1 piece driveshaft, with E85 on the mustang dyno made 445 in 110+ degree weather in AZ, so you are going to notice a huge difference! Also great info on the MMR cams. Pinero61 did they tell you what the new rpm range will be with the stage 2s? And are the BOP gears needed on NA applications? Or is it just an insurance install?

Do any of you guys know if the engine has to be taken out of the car to do these cam installs? I got that info from somebody, but never heard it before that?

It can easily be done in car. Gets a bit tricky if you're upgrading valve springs, but still not bad.

OPG? I'd recommend them if you're planning to increase power or RPM significantly. That and the CG equate to cheap insurance for an expensive engine.

I plan on pulling close to 9k, so I did both gears and upgraded to an ATI damper. Keeping the vibrations in check has a lot to do with the health of the OPGs, as they ride on the crank.

Comp also makes a set of more aggressive cams that require springs and VVT lockouts. You can get them through MMR. The stage 1 MMR cams are the Comp stage 3 cams.

I went with the MMR stage 2 cams along with a valvetrain build. We're expecting 580-600 whp on E85. The car made right at 500 on 93 right before we took it down for the cam install.
You mind sharing your mod list for the 500whp?

- Port matched CJ
- Twin 65 TB
- ID 1k injectors
- SW 1-7/8 w/ race cat and performance connections
- True 3" flow through exhaust
- Aluminum flywheel
- Aluminum driveshaft
- Rotary forged wheels
- 93 octane @ 8k RPM redline

I'm in Brazil at work, so I don't have the graph handy. I'll see if I can have it sent to me.

Being added now:

- MMR s2 NA cams
- MMR VVT lockout
- B302 tensioners
- B302 secondary chains
- MMR chain guides
- ARP cam cap bolts
- ATI damper
- APR damper bolt
- MMR OPG
- MMR CG
- Comp valve-springs
- E85
- 8250-9k redline (TBD)

After that, this is the next proposed steps:

- Ported heads w/ valve job
- 12.5:1 pistons w/ I-beam rods

or

- 150 shot

None, until I sheared the diff mounting bolts on a test hit. DS is at DSS for a retube after it got destroyed by a bracket for the e-brakes.

Man, that is a LOT of stuff. I didn't see any halfshafts listed, unless I missed them. At what horsepower rating is it recommended to upgrade the halfshafts? (I know sticky tires and how you launch plays a factor, also).

I only listed what would impact dyno readings, there's much more done to the car. But, yes, I have DSS 800hp shafts.

I broke my first shaft on the street at 480whp doing a test hit with 305 NT05's on.

I don't like the price, but they're worth it.

Your car is gonna be a monster, any concerns about drivability on the street?
