This is the block that I worked with CNCWerx to spec out. These are all components from me that are sent to Jeff @ CNCwerx to be assembled.

Have the first block for serious testing going to be shipping next week. It will be ran on a Vargas Stage 2 with 116oct unleaded fuel. Should be good for 500whp for the street, and with some fresh squeeze another 75-100whp at the track.

I will be doing a much bigger setup later on this year, it will be seeing a GTX4202R and some race gas.
Adam, is this going to anyone we know?

Im not sure if you cant break an engine with a stock turbo. I think it can be done even the tune is perfect. The guys that actually build the engines would be the people that might wanna chime in in this.
As I said, im doing a longblock similar to whats being offered but in longblock form, I dont even wanna mess with taking an engine apart, got bigger fish to fry. I have an engine on the truck from Ford headed to Kevin Jewer right now, hes doing the full meal deal, Rods , Pistons, Beehive Valve springs / Ti Retainers / CncWerks block . Im gonna use the stock turbo for a while, once I reach my goals with the stock turbo, ill then upgrade to a big turbo. Im doing this now in case I do break the stock engine, don't want to have a few months of downtime on my car. Its nice we have so many options now on the ecoboost engine. Lots of good vendors out there to choose from.
You are kind of right but wrong as well.

What you got right: The stock turbo doesn't flow enough to max the stock motor if you have a good tune.

What you got Wrong:The stock turbo spools so fast it can overboost the engine at low speed and grenade it. if you try to push the flow too high, the turbo comes too far out of effeciency and starts pumping out lots of hot air which will blow the engine if the tuner doesn't stop it.

The stock turbo is undersized for this engine and is worse for it than a(properly controlled)bigger turbo would be.

Ford did this to promote less lag and a flatter torque curve right in the heart of the normal rpm range. (Which is right smack dab in LSPI territory) and to leave alot more room between the Ecoboost and the GT especially on the top end. If they had put a proper sized turbo on it. (Think Vargas Stage 2) the EB puts out around Coyote HP on pump and a boatload more torque, while being better for the engine at the price of some low end torque and a bit more lag.

I cut my teeth on Skylines, Silvias, and Supras, so I don't mind a bit of lag and compared to those cars this engine has none.

Neat, a little off topic here but who makes the beehive valve springs and what's the seat pressure on those?
I have beehive valvesprings already available, they are 75lbs @ installed height, and 185lbs @ .400" and .535" coil bind.

Will Manley be the only supplier for the rotation assembly?

So far, yes. However I have created custom pistons for my builds, I also have a drawing and 1 set produced by JE, but unfortunately they want almost double to make the pistons they already produced for me because of the machining time.
