I didn't think my first thread post would be about an issue with my clutch.. so here we go!

I drove my M6 2015 GT down the highway for an hour and a half. Once arriving at my destination, I drove around a parking lot and parked my car. Nothing abnormal noted. Once I returned to my car and went to leave I noticed after a couple of stops that my clutch pedal was lower than usual, engaging earlier than usual, and pulsating. I drove the car back home and it's been parked since. I drove it to work today and it felt better at first. I made one hard pull with the car and the pedal went right back to feeling the way it did previously as described.

Anyone ran into this issue before? I haven't had the chance to get it in the shop and check for leaks but I'm leaning towards the clutch pressure plate collapsing.:headbonk:

Only real thought is that possibly there was an air bubble and you need to get it to gravity bleed and adjust. Takes a pumps at that clutch pedal, but worth it. Pump it 100 times, no too quickly, but consistently up to 100. Like 1 pump that takes about 2 seconds.

Also, engage your e brake about 25 times.

See what happens and how pedal feels. Need ot let it sit after pumping for a good 15-20 min though.

I do this religiously every week...not a single issue for over 2.5 years and 18k miles.

That is also a good excersize for your left leg and right arm. You will need to look into something different for your left arm and right leg.

Sounds familiar to what I am currently going through. My pedal all of a sudden felt softer and the car was really jerky when leaving from a stop and engaging the clutch. Pulled the trans and ended up that one of the ends of the spring coils in the clutch disc broke off and pressed itself into the edge of the organic material on the clutch disc. This explained the light pedal and and the jerkiness. The pressure plate was not being able to fully return to its position. Thus keeping the release bearing from being able to return to its normal position when the pedal is not depressed and therefore making the pedal feel softer and not returning all of the way. With the end of the coil being stuck in the organic material it did not allow for proper engagement against the clutch disc surface. I'm currently going through some other issues with installing the new Exedy clutch, but I intended to post on here after I've successfully installed new clutch.
