My highway MPG increased by 1.5 MPG but my local driving went down 5 MPG. Probably because I enjoy making the blower do some work. If I could possibly keep my foot out of it, I'm sure the MPG would increase. Alas, that wont happen because the giggle factor comes into play when my foot gets into it.

Your tire size does have an effect on the Speedo but it' is not going to be more than about 2-3 MPH at 70MPH. Unless you're running monster mudders or something crazy like that, I wouldn't worry much about it. Most LEOs will not bother you for a 2-3 MPH over the limit speed and it's entirely...
