So I picked up my GT PP about two weeks ago and I just hit 1k miles. The thing is if I shift through gears around 3k rpms I'm getting a slight clunk/vibration going into all gears. At first I thought the clutch might need some break in obviously but at over 1000 miles it's still rough feeling. I've had cars in the past that had noisy transmissions and you could just feel a lot of the transitions. So I'm wondering if anybody else notices the same thing or if I need to take it in.

My trans was a bit rough going into 2nd and 3rd, I just noticed the other day that it is now all nice and smooth. Just rolled 1,300 miles.

Sounds pretty normal for these transmissions. Signs you should take it in would be loud grinding or whining, getting locked out of gear, or it popping back out of gear into neutral. Alot of people who can't stand the bumping and biting of the gears have had success swapping the trans fluid. You can search the forums there's loads of stuff about fluid swaps
