Clutch and flywheel

I'm thinking about doing this and the aluminum fly wheel. Bone stock motor but intending on a GT350 top end kit + Procharger.

Yeah, get the Mcleod flywheel too. I love my setup, I can shift at 8000 with no problem.

... There are really no disadvantages of going with the RXT. This is by far the best clutch that I have ever used.

RXT is fine for rush hour traffic ? I read the ceramic clutches can be "grabby"

What's the weight on the lightened steel fly wheel vs the aluminum?

I was wondering what the weight difference was between stock flywheel and clutch vs RXT and lightened steel flywheel.

Well had the RXT installed this week. Problems have arisen. I know it was stated in one of my earlier questions that a crank relearn needed to be done. The shop i went to did not do this and said they have not needed to do this in the past (mine was the first 15 they have done). Car starts and dives but in a short amount of time (seems like when letting of the gas with the clutch engaged) it throws three codes and feels like a 4 cylinder. Codes are P300 - multiple cylinder misfires, P304 - cylinder 4 misfire, and P307 - cylinder 7 misfire. The shop is saying bad coils or plugs - i'm saying the car ran awesome before I took it in with no misfires. Is this symptom of not doing the crank relearn? Other work I had done was half shafts and JMS BAP. Wouldn't think either of those would affect this.

Take it to the Ford dealer and tell them that it needs a crank relearn. I wouldn't take it back to that same shop. It isn't coils or plugs.

I was thinking the same thing. I assume they have to plug into the port where the Gauge is? Won't affect that at all will it? Running straight E85 on FF tune.

Yeah, they will just plug into the diagnostic port. It is really easy. I did it with my whipple flare. It won't hurt your tune at all.

Well got the crank relearn completed ...problem solved!!! Time to install the PC now!

Anyone know if there are any shops or ford dealers in the area that can do the Mcleod RXT & flywheel install and the crank relearn?
