Did some holiday discount shopping. I got an Exedy chromoly flywheel (16.1lbs) and Exedy Mach 500 clutch with slave cyl for a pretty rockin' deal.
In my last few threads I detailed having some transmission noises/potential clutch issues. I figured I might as well be prepared, so I pulled the trigger.
Big thanks @Steeda for running black Friday sales on Exedy clutches!!!
The flywheel kit is a bit lighter than the stock flywheel (I am seeing between 23-25lbs for stock) and the Mach 500 clutch seems to have the best reviews for a "near stock", organic clutch. I want the clutch to be the "weak" point, but these are rated just under 500 lb ft of torque at the wheels, so unless you're boosted that's going to hold NA power great. Was looking at others but didn't want the chatter associated with different friction materials.
