Here's one more in my 240sx:

Absolutely 100% random brake check, no reason for this guy to do this. No car in front of him either.
Just a dick head. I would totally brake check back.
Same thing happened to me the other day. Someone missed a left turn so he was blocking my lane. I waited until he cleared the lane so I floored it trying to get through the light. This dickhead in his 50s driving a Sunfire got in front of me just as I was accelerating so I was pretty close to his rear bumper. He saw me and started brake checking me while driving below speed limit. I just pass the fucker and given enough distance and slammed on my brakes and stopped in the road. Freaking hate these fuckers.

I'm in HTX, went to college in Austin. Neither has as much piss smell just everywhere as San Fran imho. Also San Fran's views are way overrated.
visit the 77002 and you'll get more piss smell for a life time.

Went to San Fran a few years back, was great fun driving over the Golden Gate and down the crooked street in a big Blazer 4x4. Really liked San Fran, loved the Trams, and of course Alcatraz
and going to the top of the hills, than getting Denise to film as I went down all the hills, looked well cool

But did find the 1000s of tramps who drove you mad for money, was a total pain and did spoil the trip.

You haven't lived until you've cruised through Chicago and saw an old 80's wagon come up beside you with just bare wheels on the left side, no tires, doing north of 60 MPH with sparks flying. Wish I had a dash cam back then.

I live in an area with ample parking and no traffic.

While I do like how San Francisco looks and the stores and food, I hate the lack of parking, constant traffic and Uber drivers constantly swerving around and double parking all over the place and the constant smell of piss that most of the city has.

I have been applying to other companies outside of San Francisco for months just so I can get out of the damn city lol.
life is better down in the valley lol

Looks like a day in my car as well.

Everyone just HAS to get in front of the mustang. It makes them feel better for driving a toaster

My last trip back from Dallas I had a Chevy Silverado wedge in front of me in a line of traffic. When the highway opened up I would pop out in the left lane like I was going to pass then he would speed up. If I did this move every 10 miles or so he would stay in front of me running about 85 to 95 mph. Made fantastic time back to Htown.

Dude took all the risk from the Highway Patrol the whole way back to Houston but I'm sure he figured he was winning some race in his imagination.

Not too terrible as far as close calls go, but just a good example of the kind of mindlessness that goes on all the time on the roads around here. Florida drivers are the absolute worst...

I find many close calls wouldn't have been close calls if the dash cam driver didn't make it an issue. Good job driving defensively there and making a possible close call into a minor incursion.

I live in the land of old people, crazy people, and cell phone zombies. If I didn't drive defensively, I wouldn't have a car!

These morons are everywhere. Ride in the exact opposite lane you need to be in until about 100 ft before you need to turn. Brainless idiots.

Florida drivers are crazy even they are not moving. Yesterday, I was riding my bike down a bike path...clearly marked as right of way (also for pedestrians). Guy drove up to the cross walk and stopped...I rode across in front of him. He decided he needed to go before I had completely cleared. So he hit my rear wheel nearly knocking me off the bike..I luckily recovered before I landed in on-coming traffic. The idiot shot off onto the highway.

Exiting my parking garage this morning I had some lady cutting the corner and nearly took my nose off. I wish I could say this is a rare occurrence but it happens about once a month. Occasionally I'll see some broken headlight plastic on ground then I know someone didn't get stopped quick enough.
