I know. You got a lot of thanks for this videos. But if this is your normal driving style, you are drinking to many energy drinks! You see clearly that the cars moving to cut you off (what is there failure) but instead to slowing down, you honk your horns?! Make sure to delete your SD card if you ever get into an accident please. The police will count that a 50/50 draw! And don't say you didn't see the cars pulling out. :cheers:Anyone have footage of other people being idiots on the road? Here's two of mine, within one week of each other.
Oh and a warning, bad language included, so make sure there's no kids around.
Erasing a recording can convict you in a case you would have won if it never existed. Erasing a recording of an event being adjudicated would be spoliation of evidence and the court would conclude it was done to hide guilt on the part of the eraser.Make sure to delete your SD card if you ever get into an accident please. How would the court know that you had a functioning dashcam at the time of the crash? Genuinely curious. If I got in an accident and it was my fault, would it be illegal to not turn over the dash cam footage and then deny fault?Erasing a recording can convict you in a case you would have won if it never existed. self-incrimination. The act of implicating oneself in a crime or exposing oneself to criminal prosecution. Self-incrimination may occur as a result of interrogation or may be made voluntarily. The Fifth Amendment of the Constitution protects a person from being compelled to incriminate oneself. I'm sure this applies. No law that says you can't take your dashcam off the windshield when ever you want and erase the memory card. leave the camera as is. just remove the card. "....oh, the card is missing? ...what the hell?!? "No law that says you can't take your dashcam off the windshield when ever you want and erase the memory card. It's your dashcam.
Small cost for piece of mind!Man, between this thread and my last accident... I really need to invest in a dash cam, ASAP.
Not to mention the cost would have been more than made up for by the money I would save on my insurance premium given that my last accident was deemed "no fault" when a video would have clearly shown it was 100% the other driver's fault.Small cost for piece of mind!
Heh, I gotta say... You didn't give the Audi much space OR time. I don't think he was [or most people would be] comfortable making a lane change as quickly with as little space as you clearly are based on the way you passed that IS350... which honestly looked really dangerous, but I assume you just know your car's dimensions really well and knew what you were doing. I usually won't even attempt a lane change without at least twice that much space, and I consider myself a relatively aggressive driver. This happened a couple months ago...
Guy in the white Lexus was riding my ass on the highway, we were kinda going back and forth in traffic. I would gain some distance from him, but then he'd be on my ass again. Well, I finally got off my exit and so did he, you see him fly by me in the turning lanes to turn left... After the turn the black Audi decides he wants to turn left to get into my lane, which I was ok with, and I gave him space (and time) to do so, but he wasn't making the move. So I decided to accelerate. As the gap widened in my lane, I saw Mr. Lexus was going to make sure I didn't pass him again, so I already knew he was looking to pinch me out... You can watch the rest...
Words cannot describe how tight of a fit I had to place my GT350 in this situation. What a machine.
