Deer have literally ran into my car crossing a road, when I was stopped at a traffic sign. Ran straight into my front fender/mirror bounced off like an idiot when I wasn't even moving.

And the amount of damage they do for such a soft organism is impressive. I hate them almost as much as I hate cats.

i saw that vid the other day. both drivers are idiots, not just the bimmer.

the dash cam driver doesn't know how to keep up with the pace of traffic, which is why the bimmer got pissed in the first place, then in the end of the video, you can see he purposely blocked the bimmer driver and forced him into the accident.

Wise. I've known 4 people who were killed in motorcycle accidents in last 5 years. No one I know died in a car wreck in same period. I love bikes but too dangerous in the current, electronic obsessed, driver distracted world.....shame.

How true...Sadly almost never ride anymore because of this.
Only groups or a buddy now, wishful thinking they may see 2 or more
better than solo, but maybe it's more targets for them !

it looks like the "dash cam vid" guy was being nice and letting the bus pull out in front of him, not due to "not keeping up with traffic". As soon as the bus pulled out he kept up just fine. The BMW driver was just too much of a jerk to be able to wait for something like that, and wrecked himself.

He commented on the video somewhere that traffic typically backs up there and people who aren't A-holes let the folks turning right alternate with them. He also said he swings wide at that intersection all the time because there are some pot holes on the left side he avoids.
