Any specific instructions for cleaning the blue filters? Must you use the K&N cleaning fluid or do you just rinse from the inside out to clean it?
Thank you!

If it’s the oil free one, just mild soap and water wash.

Tip:

Get a micron pre-filter sock, you will be amazed at how it will keep your air filter from getting clogged or even dirty. It works for daily drivers and track cars.

The below linked thread I had started a while back when I had my prior 2016 S550 (which ended being a Ford Buy Back). I included images to show how it blocked debris which would normally be trapped in the pleats.

I use an “Outerwears” pre-filter micron sock; it works and works very well. Reduces filter maintenance and wear/tear on the filter from cleaning. It will NOT affect engine or CAI performance at all and works on both dry and wet conical filters. It also will not collapse and get sucked into the filter pleating.

Good luck.
