I'm a big fan of shiny wheels, but it seems like they're a thing of the past...anyone do chrome wheels on Race Red? Would love to see how it turned out.

Personally I hate chrome wheels. But its up to whatever you really want. High polished can be another "replacement" for chromed wheels. Chrome belongs back in the 50's 60's and 70's imho. Do what you want though. :)

I like chrome. But the again I like old cars and shiney hot rods and all.

I say avoid polished. It's a pain for a driver to keep them looking good.

No to chrome. I like the black. But a nice dark gray looks amazing

Moar Chrome Everywhere!!!

Seriously; it's impossible to find proper chrome wheels for the S550. Tire Rack had like two that would fit and they both looked like crap.

I'm regretting giving up the 18" chromes from my 2011 S197 when I traded in the car. Right now I'm running the literal cheapest wheels Tire Rack had to offer with my winter Michelin X-Ices, but in the spring I'll probably start looking again for a good set of chromes to replace the 50th Anniversary Package wheels (which, frankly, look like plastic hubcaps).

So, sounds like none of you feel that strongly about chrome...ha! Jimmy, I was running into that... jack to choose from. Settled on a Lorenzo glossy black, with bits of chrome (just can't quit chrome cold turkey) :)

Not all vehicles and all color look great with chrome wheels. I do like chrome wheels but it would seriously depend on the wheel design and color of the vehicle. At the end, to each his own!
