Chrome PP1 wheels ?

Did they ever offer PP1 in Chrome? My friend just got a 21 GT. He bought these used Chorme PP1s today. They have PS4S tires with about 80% tread. Got them for $700

Look on the backside and see if it is a real ford wheel. If it is then someone had them plated, if not a real ford wheel then they could be a knock off that CJ pony parts used to sell and IIRC they were available in chrome.

And no ford did offer them in chrome from the factory. They were standard black, and for a few years you could get them in silver.

Yep Ford stamped on back. I’m not a fan but he’s happy so that’s all that matters!

Detroit wheels in michigan do a PVD Chrome like coating on factory wheels. They do it on an exchange basis.
