Checking oil level. Too high on dipstick.

Checking oil level on my 2017 GT and I find that the oil extends at least 50mm above the hash marks. Car has been sitting for 4 days on level ground. Nomatter how carefully I insert and remove the dipstick it comes out covered in oil. Car has always been dealer serviced. Has anyone had this issue? I find it hard to believe that the oil level could be so high.

I suspect they put in the FN oil quantity, which is higher than FM models. Been known to happen.

Yes, that's my suspicion now too. Been running fine for 2500kms since last oil change. I'll call the dealer today and schedule an inspection.
