Howdy! Brand new to the Mustang mod world. Would love to hear about cheap or minor mods you have done, particularly on an OW Mustang. Looking to learn a lot.

Paint the engine cover, paint the coolant overflow(Pasticoat)...buy misc interior dress ups, strut tower brace. hood struts are around $100, x or H pipe $100-200 if you install yourself.. Tinted windows..I Upgraded my wheels and tires, bought used 20’s for $800, sold my originals for $600, so it only cost $200..... change floor mats, buy trunk liner, tint tail lights or side markers, change side markers to LED. Closer to $500, lowering springs, air intakes, new grills, spoilers.....I didn’t do most of these but they are reasonably cheap things....

Watch for the Black Friday sales. The vendors on here dish out some super deals during that time.

There's a thread in the DIY category that is nothing but inexpensive easy mods. If I could find the link to it I'd post it here, but I'm cooking and don't want to burn the bacon.

Thanks folks for taking the time to reply. I should have been more specific in that I am initially looking for cosmetic mods. But now that y’all mention some of the performance mods, I am really intrigued.

Catch can is a must, better late than never.
Is this still the case on Bullitts, which have a different (GT350) intake? Crazy that a modern car's PCV valve is still letting pass oil into the intake, with all the EPA rules. Thx.

I really like white Mustang convertibles, and yours is beautiful as it is. Maybe gray out the grill pony. Otherwise, anything you add will be a reduction in appeal.

it's by design, venting to the atmosphere is expressly not allowed and OEM's didn't want to saddle buyers with having to empty a catch can every oil change.

Of course, but a good PCV valve shouldn't allow any oil into the intake; just vapors. I know LSx Vette PCV valves were crap, and you really needed a catch can on those. On F-150 forums, some say to install a catch can on 3.5EBs, but you don't have to. Several owners installed one, and basically zero oil in there. I guess I'll post this question over the Bullitt forum, since they have a unique intake, and might use a different valve than regular GTs.

Finally, the Bullitt I drove had a valve that look identical to my 3.5EB (brown base), and also made the same annoying noise my truck started making around 10K miles, and went away after replacing the $10 valve. If it's the same valve as my truck, then at least I know it doesn't allow oil into the intake. Checked the tube from the valve to the intake after 10K miles, and it wasn't oily at all. And it's a twin turbo engine.

Hi! Do you have pictures of the anodized colored rings for the radio knobs? Perhaps a link to them?
