My iPhone is linked via Bluetooth to the car and the name on the screen reads "Owner's Phone." Isn't there a way to change that to my name?

I've searched on here and in the manual, and of course I tried to figure it out in the car, but no luck.

Anybody know how to do this?

Thanks in advance for any info.

You have to change the name on your phone. It pulls it from there. Settings->General->About->Name

I think you need to name your phone in the phone OS... My iPhone shows up as "gojensen's phone" because that's what I called it at one time...

Thanks, Keith. I'm a bit of a tech dinosaur. I appreciate the info.

In some phones (like mine, a Huawei HOnor 5X) you cannot change the phone's default name from the phone/about info page. You can, however, change the name under the Blutooth settings, and this does the trick, as Sync is connecting to the phone that way anyway and pulls the name from there. Just something to keep in mind, if you encounter the same problem I had (fixed now).
