Until you wash her, John. :-)and my car doesn’t see water.
To date, I only hand wash her using the two towel method and detail spray. I know at some point I will have to go deeper, but I’m waiting until I have those holes fixed.Until you wash her, John. :-)
Speaking of nice and shiny, I just detailed her yesterday and used a hybrid ceramic made by McGuire. Wow. Film has a natural shine to it and that ceramic wax made it look like the paint was wet. Maintenence is easy hereafter. Just a few .spray shots and rinse.Roger that, John. The film will keep her nice and shiny until you can wash her normally.
So how is it that those spoilers will not be a theft target extraordinaire? Any thief with a Li-Ion battery Sawzall will have that off in <5 mins! No. MSRP is $26k. Street price was $24k. There is another thread about that and how other parts are inflated so badly.
I like your fix. Was/Is this an issue on the GT350?Its a closed cell foam, why would it absorb water? Anyway, the adhesive side of the foam acts as a secondary water barrier. Kinda like peel and stick...
Yep, @Epiphany said exactly the same thing. You are also forgetting about the wheels. These are the exposed CF ones, not the cheap ass (really expensive) black painted ones. I can't imagine what MSRP is on the exposed CF wheels are.So how is it that those spoilers will not be a theft target extraordinaire? Is this the stuff in the fluorescent bottle? I picked some up for winter experimentation but haven't tried it yet....Speaking of nice and shiny, I just detailed her yesterday and used a hybrid ceramic made by McGuire. Wow.
