Any of these with some tubing you could run to a catch can?
If the filter can be removed and the aluminum base modified for that, you could. I might get one and try it. I did that until recently on my Talon. Single -10 off the oil cap to the catch can.

In the pic with the filter off in post #42, it looks like the base is aluminum, so it should just be a matter of welding something over the top with whatever fittings you need in order to connect to your catch can of choice. Probably need to watch hood clearance as well. You can see how short the DSM version is in my pic, with ports on the side, for this reason.

I'd kinda like an out of the box solution. I track my car, and an open breather, covered in oil would throw lots of red flags at tech.

Sub'd to see if this would solve the smoke at idle that the off road DP creates and the UPR CC does not solve....vice gutting the PCV.

Any of you who have had it installed for awhile notice any oil on the filter? I was changing my oil over the weekend and noticed the back side of the breather filter was dirty but the front was not.

Breather by itself didn't do it for me. Finally gave in and installed the dual valve can and gutted the pcv.

I used to get oil pooling in the metal fitting underneath the filter until I gutted the pcv

Looks like I'll check out Adam's video and knock out gutting the pcv this weekend.

Here is what my breather system will consist of.

http://adamtuned.com/collections/20...lve-catch-can-2015-ecoboost-mustang-smoke-fix

Which I will be modifying to tee into the factory valve cover vent.

Then I already have a CFM unit that was sent to me for testing that I will be deleting the ball out of, modifying the baffle in it, and then connecting it to a secondary catch can.

Overkill? Yes. Do I care? No. Racecar stuff.

Hi Adam

I think there might be typo on there

"2. Request that your idle be raised to 950rpms, this will create less vacuum at idle and will allow the system to move vapor out of the engine easier."

wouldn't the raised idle create more vacuum .

Anyway keep up good work.

We have done this pcv mod on several of our high hp cars. Moroso makes the check valve and weld in fitting. Properly installed in the downpipe using the Venturi effect this part increases the vacuum on the crankcase under wide open throttle conditions.

To quote Adam,
"Overkill? Yes. Do I care? No. Racecar stuff."
