Holy crap I can't stand this brake dust build-up. Is anyone making a ceramic pad that works with the stock PP rotors for street use?

supposedly, the ones from last year's GT500 are the same, so they can be found easily. Idk though.

Guess I'm just used to it from the Evo and '12 that preceded it. Mine arent that bad after a week of driving really. I rarely have occasion to really get on the brakes so they do moan most of the time.

Mine don't do it often, but only when I'm stuck in traffic. Never does it on hard stops.

I honestly don't mind it, I expected noise with big brakes.

Not complaining about noise. Mine are very quiet actually. I just would rather have ceramic pads for the slower build-up of brake dust

Yeah, the brake dust is a PITA with these wheels. Takes too damn long to clean them.

Contact Bruce at FullTilt Boogie Racing. He can hook you up with the right pads.

If you get on the brakes hard right out of the gate, they wont make noise. I think dust gets caught between the pads and rotor making the noise. Regardless of reason, if you really step on them, the noise will go away. I'm just rarely in a situation where I can do this (NOVA traffic blows). The dust is another ball of wax.

I normally mine fairly hard, as it's no my DD. I guess that's why I don't normally hear it.

I have Carbotech 1521 street pads. They work very well with light dust.

Just fyi pads from older models do not sweep the entire rotor.

Buyer beware carbotech pads, I ordered the 1521 pad set from them for 227.00. They don't tell you it's for the front pads only. I called when they arrived and they said if you read the small print you would have known that. How deceptive is that. 227.00 for street pads for one axle is ridiculous.
