New pads needed? Changing to 2 piece rotors most likely, 1700mi on current pads/rotors

Wondering if I need a new set of brake pads to bed properly on a new set of front rotors since my current pads have 1700mi on them with the stock rotors. Looking at two piece options from Baer and Steeda.

As long as your OE rotors aren't showing circumferential grooves I wouldn't expect so.

Worst case you can hit your current pads with a sander to flatten them out a bit before installing on the new rotors.

With only 1700 miles, I wouldn't expect the stock pads to look anything but new.
