Hey guys, who has gone about removing their ceramic coat? I applied two layers of Adams ceramic coat last Septemeber and have just not been happy with it since. I'm a little dissapointed because I'm just not happy with the paint correction that I did before the application. Any tips and tricks on removing it fairly easy? I do have access and experience with a high speed buffer and a Rupes.

It will have to be buffed/cut/compounded off. Dance with the devil on figuring out how much it takes to get through the ceramic, without getting too much into the clear coat. Just go slow until you see the flaws in the prior prep starting to come out.

It's only supposed to last a year or 2 depending on # of coats isn't it? Maybe just ride it out.

I already reached out, They stated to machine polish it off, I was more looking for insight from someone who had actually done it.
The insight is simple. If you have never done it, the chances of screwing up you clear coat is pretty high. If you are skilled using a buffer with highly abrasive compounds and polishes you chances are pretty good. Which are you. #1, bring it to a pro. #2, good luck.
