I am running a Procharger D1x and need to upgrade the proflow valve to a larger unit. What would be your recommendation/experience and why? Thinking about a Tial Q50 or the big red valve but open to suggestions.

You can do the Big Red race valve, but if you want to minimize the sounding like a jet engine get the closed valve option and put a tube and filter on it to help.

Thanks. I am planning on a closed version filtered as you mention. The Tial and Red valve come in both configurations.

Big red here. I like the jet sound and don't even notice it anymore. Daily driven.

TiAL here, it's been great. Fits much easier than the big red. I do think the big red has a larger discharge IIRC.

U have to have a pipe made up to use the big red or tial bov as an option though. Is there any easier solutions then custom making a new pipe and welding a flange?

I priced the red valve and pipe from PC. It’s around $500. Looks the the Tial can be had for about half that and I am reading really good things about them.

Have to call PC and order it. Just hit up their customer service and they'll get you squared away.

Any down side to the recirculating version with a filter on it to quiet it down?
