Center Console Issue

[The Demon]

This is the first time this has happened to me in any of the cars I’ve owned. Even though I have an auto I like to just have my hand on the shifter so my elbow is in the same spot all the time. Anyone else have this issue with the center console? I’m wondering if I could just get a new lid.

I get the same problems. Personally when not if that happens to me I'm going to find someone local that does leather and get it wrapped in a quality leather instead of the crap vinyl it comes in from the factory. Might also be a good time for me to have both front seats done fully in leather as well.

I’m not sure I want to go that far. I have seen covers to put on it. Some look pretty cool, in fact I might be able to get a custom one done with whatever I want on it. I still want to fix it though because it bothers the hell out of me.
