yes. where it belongs (or in my pocket). no one should be worrying about what's on their phone, they should be driving.
I only use it as a GPS :)
Hence the mount

How would I be able to use my waze and spotify then? I'm not sure about your phone, but mine does more than just texting and making phone calls

magnet won't hurt a single thing unless you put a big one on the screen like an idiot. lol

I normally keep mine in my pocket or cup holder, nothing I need it for while driving. However I want to use it as a poor man's GoPro for when I'm at the strip so for $20 I picked this up at Fry's electronics. Mounted to the pass side windscreen down near the dash with a mf towel under the phone to absorb the vibrations. Works like a charm. Made by Macally.

I was hoping ProClip would come out with an A pillar mount just as the did for the Focus. I'd like to have mine off to the side, not in the center dash area. I know the tweeter position prevent the proper positioning of the A-pillar mount, but it was pretty cool in the Focus.

Well, for someone who uses their cell phone for work sometimes I receive urgent emails/texts so glove box ain't an option for most people. Plus waze and music controls.

I use the QUAD LOCK case unless I have my Otterbox Commuter case(hate having a wallet and a phone at the same time), and I'll probably go with a mount from quad lock for the car because I have a mount on my bike and for the gym with the same case.

I think for someone not using a case, or using a small case, the SCOSCHE would be the best choice although no matter what anyone thinks the magnet will be wearing on your phone. Obviously, it would take a while to notice damage, but it's there...

magnet isn't gonna hurt anything. it's not strong enough for one and it's no where near anything to hurt...it's like saying cell phones are gonna give you brain cancer for having them beside your head

Nah... unless you're driving around with a CRT, the magnet won't hurt an lcd.

a strong enough magnet might because it will hold a magnet to it but that's about most as anyone would have to worry about with magnet and a cell phone lol.

here is my magnet on the inside of the back cover of my G3. battery is right behind it. no issues, no worries, and nfc still works.

Another vote for the Mob Armor mount. I use it in my Raptor. Have it mounted next to the nav screen, charger plugged into the bottom, and use it to run Waze on road trips.
