My LG 30 has just about reached its life span. The battery will last ok if I leave it on my desk. If I actually use the phone, it won't last the day.

I really don't want an iPhone, and I'm anti- Samsung. Does anyone have any experience with the OnePlus?

I'm just going to throw out there that OnePlus is a Chinese company so if there's anything about your life you don't want the Chinese government to know about I'd stay away from it.

Google's Pixel phones are still a thing and they usually get rated pretty well.

I've been using Pixel 3a after years of using (multiple) top of the line Galaxy S - very specifically didn't want to spend ~$1k on a phone. It's great for what it is with some shortcomings that are fair for the price. Would buy another one, likely will wait for 5a to come out. 4a 5G would be something I'd buy if this one crapped out.

(I also have work iPhone and not ever switching over to Apple, even though they have their shit together way more than Android does in many aspects).

Any reason for the anti-Samsung stance? Not wanting a Crapple, I can understand

I'm one of the "I can feel the radiation coming from the phone" guys. All the Samsung phones I've had have felt like there's something coming off the phone when it's in my pocket. Yeah yeah, I need a tin foil hat.

Well, since I don't have the nuclear codes, and most of the pics on my phone are of either a) car shit, b) random construction sites of no interest to anyone other my boss, or c) food on the grill.

I'm not too worried about the Chinese. And aren't most phones manufactured in China?

The Pixel might be an option. But they spy on me more than China does!!

Before my current iPhone I was a Blackberry fan, especially after they adopted the Android platform. However, there are some apps I need for work that are only available in IOS. Otherwise, I'd go back to Blackberry. I've had my iPhone 7 for 4 years now and need to replace it soon.

I probably "should" go with the iPhone, as it seems to work better with some of the drone applications we have to use, but I just can't bring my self to do it.

I know, right?!?!?
Think about that. 1k for a cell phone whereas a Roush catback exhaust for the Mustang costs about 1,200 bucks. Crazy!

One of the reasons I'm considering the OnePlus. $600 looks pretty good.
