My wife and I came out of a grocery store this afternoon. There was a younger couple (I'm 55, wife 44) standing closely and walking around my GT. They were not touching anything.

I hit the remote start to see what would happen. They kind of jump and started walking away really fast. They walked over to a 2015 Black GT and got in and started up.

Their GT was a PP and mine is a 50th Deep Impact Blue. I could tell they had a manual as they started my direction. My wife and I were in my car as they rode by very, very slowly. Their heads were turned watching us.

Mine has the temp tag on it as it is 6 days old.

That is the first one I've come in close contact with since I got mine. It was fun watching them look at mine. They obviously meant no harm ---- just a fellow 'Stang GT owner.

But it is nice knowing that my Blue GT 50th turns the heads of other 2015 Mustang owners.

how do you use the remote start? also, what if the car is parked in gear when started??

Manuals do not get remote start.

With auto, click lock then start twice. All is explained in the manual that came with your car and salesman should've showed you.

haha well that explains it. i do in fact have a manual. dont see why anyone would ever buy this vehicle in auto. thats a sin in my book lol. also my salesman was not the brightest. i knew more about the vehicle going in than he did. thanks for the help though!

I get people on a daily basis talking to me about it. Parking lots, intersections, driving giving thumbs up, you name it. It's amazing how many people like it.

I went through a license checkpoint last week, right about dusk. All lights had just popped on via the auto headlight control and everything was on; DRLs, HIDs, corner lights (with Diode Dynamics LED switchbacks: Thanks guys!) all over my Ruby Red that gets really nice wine-colored in low light with all those nice contours. While one deputy was checking my license, the other had whipped out his phablet and was snapping shots of my car from all angles. As I drove away, window still down, he called out "Love that car". So far only one in town.

2015s are still so rare they attract attention. Two in the same parking lot is exceptional. In our three months here in Idaho, I have seen exactly two other 2015s. One a DIB GT and the other, just last weekend, a CO PP GT. I am going to take mine to the Summer in the Park show in June, here in Boise. Maybe I can see a few more there.

I live just outside Portland, OR, and drive there regularly, as well as driving to and in Seattle on almost a weekly basis. Since I bought my car a couple days before Thanksgiving, I have seen 5 other 2015s on the road, including one parked, one that was clearly on a test drive from a dealer near my office, and 2 that were moving and more than 100 yards away, which I barely got a glimpse of. Strangely, 2 were Ruby Red, 2 were DIB, and one was either Metallic or Guard - that one was a couple of blocks ahead of me at dusk and I couldn't get through traffic to catch up.

Weird...
