Any real noticeable difference between the two? Power wise and sound wise? I live in NY and dont have a hook up to get non catted headers to pass NYS inspection.

In my experience the power difference is too small to notice by seat of the pants. Catless sounds better, has a more raw tone which I liked.

I'm pretty sure whoever inspects your car will know the cats were removed when they get anywhere near it. My car stunk big time. I put cats back on pretty quick.

I found that some catless cars sound a bit to raspy/tinny. I kinda figured the power wouldnt really be noticeable. I think Imma gonna go high flow cats on the headers I order over the winter. I will pair them with my MBRP cat back with H pipe. Should sound deep and how I want it.

Powerwise? I'd say pretty minimal. Soundswise? Catless are gonna be much louder and you risk more and more drone of course. Also I've heard once you go catless, there's a potential for an overbearing smell of gas in the cabin.

If you are expecting to make some big power catless is a must. If it a daily driver go with catted. The smell will be overwhelming with the catless but it eliminates any restrictions of flow.

I drive the car quite often in the summer time. I think I will be happy with the sound when its combo'd with my MBRP Race catback. Catless might be too much rasp and drone. And I wont notice the power it losses with the cat on... maybe lose 5hp. Not looking for big power. Keeping car NA with full boltons is the plan.

Just a side note on inspections. Majority of catted headers don’t actually pass emissions. If it’s an eye ball test then your good. Also if a shop wants to be a stickler any modification to the emissions system is a fail.

<5hp difference. Catless way louder. Smell is not an issue if you go e85 as it actually smells quite pleasant catlesss or catted.

Wish I had E85 in my area.

Does anyone have any technical or engineering knowledge that the high flow or green cats do anywhere near as well as the stock cats at removing pollutants?
