View attachment 351638 Please see picture. I am running this catch can with the exception of mounting it on the passenger side. I have one line going to the passenger valve cover and the other going to the drivers side valve cover. Originally the passenger OEM line runs to the port on the intake manifold just behind the throttle body facing the passenger fender. Do I just capped that line? I believe it has strong vacuum that would pull any excessive oil from the passenger valve cover. I am running a filter guard on the blower just like the picture.

I'm not familiar with this type of catch can....both valve cover outlets go the same can with no outlet on the can, except what looks like a breather? All the cans I have used on boosted applications are located between a singe valve cover outlet and it's respective inlet to the intake. So you would have a can for the passenger side and one for the drivers side. The only time I've capped of intake inlets is if breathers are being used on the valve covers instead of cans. If you are running just a filter guard and wouldn't need to route the drivers side to anything why not just use breathers instead of a can? Or a can on the passenger side and a breather on the driver's?

I think using the connection to the manifold is the only way it works. Hence the word “catch”. The UPR setup that I use with my Whipple pulls from both valve covers and into the can, but there is still a check valve connection to the blower for the “pull” of crankcase pressure. UPR also makes a one way check valve breather for boosted applications that takes place of your oil fill cap. I’m running that too. Something to look at

Cap the manifold port and gut (or replace) the PCV valve, run a hose from each valve cover to the can. You will basically have breathers with a catch can.

I just did a vented to atmosphere catch can setup after running a Whipple then UPR for 3 years. Both UPR and Whipple catch cans use the vac source to pull fumes (always positive) from the induction inlet from valve covers, but resulted in oily intake buildup. No catch can will completely catch all the oil, so I went to a large vented box with 2 filters on it and a drain. Like yours both valve covers vent to the box and the induction or manifold inlet vac source is capped off.

Yep, same setup here too.

I like that mounting location, pretty smart! You know though with that filter placement, as soon as the oil level is as high as the first filter it's going to leak out of it... unless theres an internal baffle/wall?
