The latest comparison from cars.com. Compared the PP1 and PP2 @ GingerMan raceway. Laps times provided by Hollie Heiser from CGI Motorsports, who is also a track instructor.

A little disappointed in the track lap times but I'm not sure of the conditions weather wise as the video did show rain, but not during the track photo shoot portion.

    PP1 - 1:49.3 / 12.2 sec 1/4mi
    PP2 - 1:44.9 / 13.3 sec 1/4mi

You can check record lap times here. http://fastestlaps.com/tracks/gingerman-raceway

I just wasted 10 min of my life watching this review. What a clueless dufus! Don't waste your time.

I find the 1/4 mile times pretty meaningless, but I was intrigued by the lap times at the track. 4+ sec on the same day/track/driver is quite impressive considering the PP1 runs on Pilot Sport 4S's.

The 1/4 on the PP2 in that review is an absolute joke - I didn't watch the vid yet, are they both manual? The straight line times should be the same since the PP2, afaik, has lighter rims even though they're larger.

Terrible comparison. The PP1 needed to be manual and the PP2 didn't get a dry day for dragging. They simply published what they had accuracy be damned. How did they end up with times WORSE than the base 15 gt?

Then that 1/4 time is even worse if that was the A10 :cwl:

    Bad comparison.

I would love to see a pp1 with the same tires as the pp2. Let’s take those beefy sticky tires out of the equation.

You know I don't know what to say to that. At no point did they see an issue with any of these results. Just wow. The s195s were not great handling cars compared to the competition. The s550s pull ~1g on a skidpad.

Stop looking at one Result ffs.:curse:

Yes, the manual is slower at the strip than the A10 - live with it.

And they also say clearly in the vid that it started raining.

4,5s on any Racetrack is Huge :like:
