There's a local place.. I'll ask them if the do CF coating since I can walk there if necessary. If not, maybe I'll go further afield.

I've yet to look at my kick pads to notice them; I saw yours, and they're very nice.. but... I can't remember seeing them in my own car to know if I care or not :p
See I notice them because I have red leather around them, and they're the easiest panel in the entire car to remove ;)!

If you/anyone else wants them done, happy to do it, need to get rid of the leather :lol:

Looks ace @Manders Mustang !

The interior of our cars is crying out for a little upgrade here and there.

Great job
It is quite plasticy. It's better than previous generations and a good interior all round, but, it does need some TLC to make it a really premium interior.

Credit goes to:
Hydro_Princess (Leanne) on Instagram / Bodyworx / Hydroworx who did the work.
Hydroworx is Leannes business, and her Husband owns Bodyworx, so the husband does all the priming, paitning etc, and she does the dipping.

Yeah I've been thinking about doing some of the parts in alcantara like my steering wheel but not sure how they will age with use.
Apparently dirt doesn't bode well with alcantara, mind you, if I was doing an Alcantara steering wheel, I'd do what Enoch did and go all out alcantara everywhere to blend it in. And that's just too costly to me lol

You can walk to where? I'm intrigued. Was going to use a company in wales who I have seen a lot of work from. Got quite a few bits I want sorted.

Good stuff, I thought you were mad when you posted the first stripped down pictures but it's turned out nice (here's to youthful enthusiasm) .
Do you know how they do it? Is the pattern stuck on somehow?
It's called hydrodipping. Check it out on YouTube it's pretty cool stuff. It's pretty much a big transfer film.

I've just watched the transformation of a lampshade, its a bit like my old Airfix kits. Works well.
It's pretty much the same stuff, except more robust, then coated in laquer. :headbang:

Looking good- have you taken a better picture when everything is back in the car so we can see the complete look. Definitely something I had thought about doing to the dash.

There's some on the last page, but, I took the car down london on saturday, was out on Friday so never had a chance to take proper pictures, the Dippers have some nice pictures of it which look a bit better, and i've got a closeup shot of the carbon weave, if you'd like them.

I've got a lot of alcantara in the defender and dirt hasn't been an issue, and that's a vehicle that's had dirt thrown at it.

Fair enough, but i've still heard stories of alcantara turning to shit with wear and tear, mind you, leather will if you put enough miles on it.

Still, it's about ÂŁ500 worth of mods for myself, and couple that with then my OCD going APESHIT that there will be 2 different stitching colour (red and grey/white) i'd go barmy :lol:
