I don’t have one, so I’m not much help. I just don’t see the added benefit for the weight difference.

But, I’m also not going max effort and trying to get every tenth out of my car.

I have a aluminum 1 piece. I personally prefer it over stock and carbon fiber because for a street car a rock kicked up can crack the carbon fiber and cause the driveshaft to explode. Rare but possible. Aluminum is much stronger and won't have that occur and the price was less so that's a bonus. If you track the car the carbon might be helpful but from what research I've done I believe aluminum is the better way to go.

I have a QA1 Carbon Fiber Drive shaft. I upgraded from OEM due to Performance increase. I absolutely love it. Zero vibration, zero issues. Seems to Rev quicker.

Happy with my QA1 too, but I cant say if its noticeable because I did 3 or 4 huge changes at once and the driveshaft was the least of them. You need a driveshaft, I highly recommend having one. The car runs better when the transmission is connected to the diff.

It does Rev Quicker! Too bad they don't make them anymore. I noticed an immediate difference in throttle response, acceleration and power transfer. Many would disagree. That was my assessment.

I have had my qa1 carbon fiber driveshaft for about 2 years now daily driven without any issues. The drivetrain slop that was there with the 2 piece was eliminated with the cf driveshaft.

I have the QA1 CF shaft,you will not notice any difference in feel or performance driving around town or even on the hwy....... You might feel a smidge of better throttle response 5000-7500 rpm
but thats about it... I bought mine because A the oem shaft is ugly and B i got it at cost
