From what I've seen, you apply, wait and then remove it right? For someone with some knowledge of vehicle coatings it seems pretty hard to drastically screw up. I don't want to pay $2k to get it done and I could care less about doing paint correction on what is already pretty flawless paint.
Yep, apply to section, wait 2-3 minutes depending on temp & humidity then wipe off. I did a quick polish as mine only had 750 miles when I did it on Friday. I also had a wax on the car that used as temporary protection so a quick polish is the best way to remove that.

Not sure if the ceramic is any more protective than a good wax job but I’m going to use it regardless just in case. I will do my own paint correction on the Atlas Blue when it arrives. Even with a good paint job it’s still hard to not have noticeable swirl marks on a dark color. But, Old Red looked mighty good with just a good wax job.

I guess it’s normal, but I don’t know why it does it. My 2022 GT makes noise when it’s parked. If I’m working in the garage I can hear it several times a day.
When I open the door, it sounds like relays or something like that, under the hood and toward the back of the car. It makes that same noise seemingly randomly when parked. Key is in the cabinet
Hmmmm.... the similarities, it's all toooooo familiar....

I think it’s just a different type of protection. More hydrophobic properties than a traditional wax and they last longer. I was actually quite surprised how good the coating looks on my wife’s SUV, which is black with some flake in it. Has that deep, wet look that usually only comes with a carnuba.

Looking forward to trying it out. Spent a few minutes yesterday doing the front bumper and back of the mirrors on my wife’s new RX. Wasn’t worried about a correction before hand since it’s a white Pearl. Was looking for some quick protection for the trip to the beach tomorrow. That 170mi drive at almost 80mph tears the front end up. While we are down there I will do the complete vehicle

There's no doubt in my mind that a ceramic coating protects much better and lasts much longer than any wax. When I wash my vehicles, I use another Duragloss product: Aquawax. Adds a bit of shine and slickness to the surface. I also do "top offs" with their ceramic spray. Great stuff.

Here's my original paint, ceramic coated 2005 Excursion.
