In the past week I have found my cars battery completely dead twice. It seems to be dead if I don't drive the car for 1 day. I haven't left any lights on and I don't have any audio upgrades.

What does the voltmeter read before and while running? Autozone or Walmart can tell you if you have a bad battery or not too.

Nearly dead battery...

I have come out to my Mustang, which had been parked for more than a week, several times, and got a warning that my battery was low. The motor barely started. Nothing was left on. It seemed to me as if an 'automatic' circuit had stayed on rather than shutting off. The battery was checked and passed all tests.

Yeah I ran into this problem too, was just a bad battery Ford warrantied out for me. I would start with just having Ford check your battery.

I've had my battery replaced at under 2K miles. It seemed completely dead if I don't use the car in a few days. Battery gauge when running is between 13.6 to 14.5 volts. Turned out to be a bad battery.

I do, I don't think the alarm actually works though. I got to take it back to check it out.

from what I've read on here from a few guys, the alarm puts a parasitic drain on the battery

The normal parsitic drain isn't much (less than 20 miliamps). My GT can sit for 10 days and starts up just fine. Here's the battery voltage drop over a 10 day period. Nothing was disturbed on the car during the voltage measurements across the battery, so if you're opening the doors, etc all the time it will drop the voltage down more than what this curve shows.

I do but the car is parked in the garage so it's never locked so no alarm. It was just a bad battery.
