Colors I've seen in person

Magnetic
Ingot Silver
DIB
White
Black
TY
Race Red
CO

I've yet to see Ruby Red or Guard.

Ah, this is such a hard decision. The Magnetic just didn't look as good in person as it did in user provided photos. Maybe because the sun wasn't hitting it at a good angle?

The IS next to it was popping but it had the sun on it. Plus I've always thought IS to be a bit bland (no disrespect to those who have it)

Right now I'm still leaning towards Magnetic, with Race Red being second. I often confuse Race Red with CO though, they seem super close in tone.
Where have you seen all of these colors in person? I have yet to see a 2015 Mustang; no dealer anywhere near me has any on the lots yet.

What's the weather like in South Florida? I'm assuming sunny and clear skies most of the time?
Yeah, from Oct through May but from June through Sept, you can expect Rain and a thunder storm everyday for sure. I`d prefer Austin to anywhere in FL but the Winters are just too damn cold.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, Guard changes color with the light. Here is a shot with late afternoon light hitting the front end...check out the color change from front to rear.

No comments on the drilled bumper...I'm trying to get over it.

I've seen Ruby in person and it's a gem of a color (HA!), as well as white and triple yellow. Yellow was absolutely stunning and has made me seriously consider it. Magnetic was always at the top of my list (with redline interior) but I want to see it in person first; I've heard some people refer to it as a little boring compared to the bright colors. Race Red is probably the last color I would have considered, but it's really starting to grow on me. Nice and simple, eye catching, sexy, and easy to live with. Black is beautiful but I rented a black 2015 for a week and even washed it myself to try and keep it looking good, but it was a nightmare. Always dirty.

Right now my order is 1) Magnetic 2) Race Red 3) Triple Yellow 4) Ruby Red
Nothing says Ferrari like a Race Red Coupe or Convertible, same could be said for a Mustang too.

I had an order for a silver, then just like you I saw a red. I canceled the silver and changed it to red. Red looks really sporty and awesome.
Saw a Race Red 50th Anniversary Gt over the weekend, was really surprised how good it looked on the road. Good luck on your decision!

I welcome anyone who believes magnetic to be a "boring" color to go see it on a sunny day or at night under street lights. It sparkles and looks incredible. I'm at work right now but when i'm home later tonight I'll post some recent pictures of my car.

I'm with you on this one. I still haven't seen a single S550 anywhere in the tri-state area other than my own.

This car looks brilliant in a metallic color. I have been trying to like Race Red but it just doesn't get to me the way the metallic colors do. The picture above of Ruby Red does not do the color justice.

Had there been a Magnetic on the lot when I got mine I may have chosen it. I am thrilled with my DIB chameleon.

Farmundeh if you don't mind posting more photos of your magnetic in this thread that would be awesome.

I had the privilege of seeing the different colored cars on several different lots in South FL.

Narrowed my choices down to Magnetic and Race Red

Don't overthink your color choice. Go with your very first instinct, even if that color is not in the running right now. Read Blink by Malcolm Gladwell for the power behind this.

If you're debating colors right now you'll end up debating them later no matter what you settle on at the time of purchase. So stop thinking and go with your gut.

In my 72 yrs of life, all of my cars have been red sport cars; this time I
went with CO (GT Premium). Was standing outside the Imperial Palace
the other day, still thinking I should have gotten red again, when I saw
a CO GT at a traffic light, all doubt disappeared. Man, when the sun hit
that color I almost wet myself, only selfpreservation kept me from running
out into traffic to talk with the driver. I will date a Plain Jane, but I will
never drive one. My car arrvd in NV this morn awaiting a different mode
of transportation.

Stick with Magnetic, it was your first choice.

I love that it changes it's character depending on the light. Guard does something similar. Although both will need to be kept clean, but I enjoy that aspect of owning a car.
