The only thing I like about the Camaro's is the handling. A significant thing, no doubt, but I don't know if that would warrant the price.
There was a what do you want on the Mustang thread when the s550 first was released. Several of those things are available on the Camaro (but still not in the Mustang, or at least the non Shelby's).

Stuff like better manual transmission, HUD, dual mode exhaust, rev match, magnetic shocks, etc.

If you step away from magizine racing the cars are barely different in terms of performance for the everyday driver. What it should come down to is comfort, styling and cost that sways you. I'd say wait to make your decission after this week because I'm pretty confident we will see the 2018 Mustang but maybe without actual performance numbers.

I'm not a ford guy. We all know the camaro is faster yet here we are with mustangs, so the camaro might win the power to weight ratio battle but it lost as a whole. I drove the camaro, mustang and scat pack challenger and for me the mustang won the overall. The mustang was also he cheapest. Guys are spending 2-3k on mods and getting nearly 450whp. That's still less than the camaro and now the mustang has more power.
Correction: a Mustang making 450 whp is making more power then a Camaro making 455 crank hp!
