Can Tuner disable PATS

Does anyone know if most of the tuners can disable PATS? I swapped my car to an auto and the car want start with the new PCM because of PATS issues.

Yes, tuners can disable PATS. It was regular even back in the New Edge cars when people would switch clusters. PATS could be disabled with the SCT tuners.

Things have changed since the New Edge days and these cars are not so simple. I guess you didn't know that.

"HP Tuners" is whats its called. Its software you buy and load on to a laptop or desktop computer.

Not a bad idea but just know the software is mega detailed and you need to know in depth tuning stratagies or you can easily F- something up in a hurry. I used it to datalog and send n recieve tune updates on my old LS stuff.

You also need to purchase additional credits if your're going to share the interface and software

Old thread but PATS delete now available for all 15+ Fords with the PCMTEC Protuner package. Included for free with every license. With the current exchange rate this is approximately $130 USD. All that is required is a J2534 cable and a laptop. You then get access to edit up to 30,000 tables and scalars in the PCM as well as datalogging.
