Picking up a race red Auto 2017 GT Saturday. I originally wanted a Flowmaster outlaw but I'm second guessing because some people have said combined with an H/X pipe it'll be to loud/attract too much attention. I also don't want to be like the losers in their 2008 civics with their half broken mufflers. I was thinking a Roush with an MRT H pipe. Thoughts?

Roush + H or X is one of the loudest combos...that being said most feel the Roush axle-back alone is near perfect with the stock resonator.

Roush stock resonator you have to give it good throttle to hear it, with res delete h/xpipe combo its really loud if you want it to be, and can barely hear it if you accelerate more slowly and zero drone at cruise speeds , now longtubes o/r hpipe with roush axleback, you better stay a very light throttle and under 2k or it screams but dam it sounds good, I dd it with longtubes hpipe and it does attract attention but have nice neighbors and no problem

Roush with stock resonator is probably the most popular. I had it. It made good sound and very easy to install.
Although the fit was terrible. I have Solo performance now. Love the ball joint for perfect tip alignment.

I love my Roush Axleback with the X-Pipe but to be honest, I plan on switching it to the Borla ATAK as my friend has one and man it is much louder but no drone in the inside.

My vote is for the Magnaflow Competition axle-back. Listen to youtube videos and see what you like.

My buddy has the Roush AB and an X-pipe, and it's stupid loud. Like, not even loud, it's shouty. Any stab of the throttle, and it yells. Cool for a weekend queen like his, bad for a daily driver like mine.

When I do exhaust, I'm going with the Solo Mach XV. It sounds great, the volume is just about right, and with the 'J' pipes, you can tune out any potential drone.

I love my Roush ABs, but they did need some adjusting after I put them on which I was unable to do. I took it to an exhaust shop when I was done because the passenger side tip was way out of alignment no matter what I did, but 10 minutes on a lift and $25 later I was lined up perfect! They had to heat and bend the hangers but it looks great now!

Buying a brand new 17. Imo buy a full quality cat back. I prefer the Corsa. T304, resale value, sound, look and best of all no drone.

roush and h or x pipe
unless youre going headers, sounds great but anything above 2k and its game over lol i switched to and AWE track catback and it sounds sooo much better, tame and deep under 3k and at WOT i would say its almost as loud as the roush. Lots of drone with the AWE because well...its the track i knew it was going to before i bought it, but without headers i dont see it droning at all.

On the topic of axle backs. Does anyone run mishimoto? Seems to be very little about it. Mainly wondering the street version.

Definitely go with something from Corsa. I have had 4 different exhausts and they have been the best quality, sound, noise level and no drone. I cant think of a single negitive besides the price but its worth every penny.
