Can I split a mirror-tap?

2018 Car with autodimming mirror.
I have the mirror tapped for a radar detector and like the clean elegant solution very much.
I want to add a dash cam now and do not need hard wired for parking protection and would rather not run wires throughout the car.
Can I split the window tap myself and add a micro-USB out for the cam?
I would likely just use a foot of the harness that came with the cam to make it even easier.

You need to check the draw of the detector and the camera. There are other power wires in the vicinity I think you can tap into.

If it helps someone makes a Radar and dashcam in one. uniden or cobra I think.
