Looking to pick up a dash cam soon. Already have a V1 powered via a mirror tap. Looking to run them both off of the harness from the mirror simultaneously. Anyone else done this before?
I searched and found one post from an earlier thread stating that a member has done this using a couple different invisicord taps, but there were no additional details on how it was done (i.e. spliced the two mirror taps together, all four pins fit in the mirror harness, etc.). See post #9.

Not an electrical expert by any means, just wondering if splicing the two together would be the right/safe solution for what I'm trying to do
