I have a Delkin Fat Gecko dual suction cup mount for my gopro that gets mounted on the outside on the window usually. For the inside, I use my S8+ with a ram mount using the OBDII Link MX for data and track addict on the S8+.

Very nice video :clap2: Say can I ask what camera you're using and if you are using an external mic? Oh have you tried zooming in the camera just a bit to get a bit more of the race course in view? Also do you have AutoBlip? I'm guessing no on the AutoBlip as it doesn't sound quite like it. Thanks

Very nice videos. I would say I liked the bumper cam the best because the track light exposure was the best. With the camera so far back in the car it just doesn't get the exposure right and the track is washed out. With the camera closer to the windshield that aspect is much better but the trade off is you can't see what the driver is doing as well. I like the helmet cam's position in relation to the windshield but maybe a bit too much movement as your head position changes. So I can see what you mean about liking them all for different reasons. Thanks for posting them.

Yes, it was frustrating. You cant pass unless they signal you to do so. It kinda makes you wonder if the guy in the black vette was playing games.
As for the frontstretch, I got up to 170+ miles per hour (8250 in 5th). I had the monitor set on TPMS tire pressure, so only a quick look at the speedo at those speeds. I have GPS data, but I haven't had time to put it all together with race render.

Yes, actually quite good. This year I had a track specialist align my car. He spent half a day dialing it in just right. They are here in Daytona, BSI racing. The crew did an exeptional job and have a lot of experience here at the track.
In all honesty, there is a noticeable difference between 140 and 150. There is a bigger difference between 150 and 160. A huge difference between 160 and 170.
There was a BMW who blew a tire on the front stretch at about 150. The tire shredded and tore the car up. The mustang behind him suffered significant front end damage from the debris. There was a large area on the wall that was black where the tire blew apart.
My point is going those speeds has consequences and significant pucker factor. I kept my TPMS page up and monitored my pressures constantly. After each session, I measured tire temperatures to ensure that they were not excessively heating nor a large differential. The whole time scenarios of what if a tire blew now go through your head.
I have GPS and OBD data. I'm swamped now, but I will try to put something together quick with the data overlay. I've got friends from the UK visiting and I'm supposed to be heading out to work tomorrow, but maybe tonight.

I use the same external mic as [MENTION=21800]Tomster[/MENTION] and hook it up to my Hero4 with the external mic adapter. I mount the mic outside on my rear bumper and run a 3.5mm cable to the gopro.
