I've done the red G2 for years and I finally painted this mustang velocity blue to match. Well I'm not happy with it since it doesn't show like the red and I debating on changing it.

I do Jerry, and I'm installing the rear brembo's shortly. I've been a corvette guy for years and I built everyone that I bought, and I miss the personalization of that process. Ford makes it so bloody difficult to order. I wish you could pick your color calipers, different interiors, etc etc. Crap, we're all paying 45-60k for these things, at least we should be able to personalize them at production time instead of a million mods. Ok, I'm done ranting. LOL

Interesting, I just came over from a 2014 C7 Z51. Drove Vettes for 20years. None of them ordered, just found what I wanted on the lot. Lucky, I guess. This 2021 GT Premium California Special I found locally is one of the best Mustangs Ford has come up with, in my opinion. Yes, the amount of mods is staggering compared to the vette! The good part is Mustang mod prices are waaaaay lower! I love that part of it.

I painted my calipers VB from G2 to match my VB painted stripes and wish I had done red for the same reason.

Jerry, very cool. Yes, I retired, so the 90g's for a vette seemed crazy and I don't like the c8's. I had a 2012 GS vert, 2014 z51 Callaway coupe, 2015 z51 Callaway vert, 2017 gs coupe, and my favorite, 2018 zo6 Callaway coupe that was insane. I miss the 757 hp, but sold it to buy a rv, so there's that. lol

What type of paint do you use for calipers

bought mine from the factory. they have them for the mach 1, but brakeworld.com has a ton and you can order them in many colors. they paint them per order

Calipers painted in Raspberry blue with some metal flake. Painted to match stripes on my Oxford white GT. Depending on lighting conditions they have a tinge of purple.

but of course there is a reason:

You can't get a better alternative here in Germany for around € 50,000- € 60,000.

and I can order it directly from my German Ford dealer.

There is also no longer a current European 5-liter V8.

the mustang looks great, has a great engine and a very nice sound.

price / performance is great.
The quality of the details could be better.
Given the price, that's no wonder.

you just have to improve a few things yourself.
Chassis, for example.

I installed a KW V3 coilover kit.
plus a domebrace, the BMR 4-point brace, Ford Performance rear axle bearings.

in summer he gets an increase in performance and vmax cancellation.

then he should run just under 300.

then it is a lot of fun even at over 250km / h.
Luckily we still don't have a speed limit here

a comparable BMW M4 costs around € 100,000 here.

I went with yellow on my VB with black wheels. As those particular wheels don’t show a lot of the caliper I thought it better to go a brighter colour so it stood out a bit.

The black makes the caliper color look so much better. My stock oem black wheels makes the VB caliper look good, but with my bronze 350 wheels, not so much.
