Everyone wants Brembo brand and have yet to see Baer or Wildwood on anything mass market.
Maybe things have changed, but the last Baer calipers I purchased were manufactured by Alcon and labeled Baer.

Interesting company. Hal Baer was an engineer who worked in the shop and hired management and marketing people.

Hal and Gene Howald (the H in HRE) worked together to design a brake/wheel combo for me in the late 90s. Hal even registered me with SEMA as an employee to get me in from setup day on.

I'm still trying to figure out at what point in time calipers became a fashion statement instead of just plain brakes. They get loads of brake dust on 'em. What else is there beside black or natural finish?
It started for me back in 81, when I had a 1979 US Porsche 930 Turbo . They had the brakes from the 917 race cars. They were built for function. But were soooo cool looking. Everybody wanted some just like them. Extremely pricey.

Big time.
Very nuts. Just look at the 2019 ZR1 cars as well. Some are over 200K!!!!🤪🤪

Exactly.
I'll never be able to afford one. lol
200k for a Vette?
nuts....
I bought my 2018 z06 convertible brand new for around $70k (long gone now)
That is why I jumped on my Porsche in 10/2020, $115K for a CPO 991.1 Turbo S cabriolet with 39K miles. Way more than I ever had spent on a car new or pre-owned, but I could still sell it for more than that now.

My (former) 350Z had gold Brembos from the factory. I am in the process of painting the calipers on my Laser red 02 GT gold as well.
My S550 GT has Brembos but can’t see them behind the PP wheels.

They also make a burnt copper sold as engine paint, but i used it on calipers no problem. More a 24k gold look than 12k.

Wow, that looks great. Don't cha wish the rears were as big as the fronts? 😁
I do Jerry, and I'm installing the rear brembo's shortly. I've been a corvette guy for years and I built everyone that I bought, and I miss the personalization of that process. Ford makes it so bloody difficult to order. I wish you could pick your color calipers, different interiors, etc etc. Crap, we're all paying 45-60k for these things, at least we should be able to personalize them at production time instead of a million mods. Ok, I'm done ranting. LOL

She's beautiful! Love the chrome 5.0 badge with the wheels. Not a fan of black wheels on most cars, there are exceptions though.
Thanks Keith. I'm a chrome guy and the Shelby chrome powder was the closest thing I could get. I'm pretty happy with them. Black rims, yes, certain cases, but damn if they're not overdone at this point. Not a fan.
