Hi Folks
I'm really looking at all the goodies for the Mustang. On the PP2 the Brembo brakes are a black color. Was thinking of red. Are the covers worth it? And what about the rears?

Covers are garbage. If you want to change the color, take the time, make the effort and do it right.

Think I'm going the Apex Overlay route as ELVIS67 said. Probably front over the Black Brembos and in the rear over the basic brakes.
Anyone have any pics on their own cars?
How was the install?

Why would you want to cover the front Brembo calipers? That makes no sense. Just paint them red. You will need to paint the rear Apex Overlays anyway.

Calipers covers are stupid, in the same League than the fake cellular antenna for your car back in the days or the fake portholes on the fenders or the supercharger emblems in a NA car or .... you get the idea 😆

The front brembos are black. The apex covers are already red. Take a look at the link.

IMO easiest and probably cheapest way to do it is to just swap over to the Bullitt calipers. It's a direct swap that takes under an hour for most people, and then you can probably sell yours for a decent amount.

Apex also come bare. Again, I don't see a point in paying a lot of money to hide the front Brembos just because they are black.

I don't believe Apex makes covers to fit over the Brembos, only the small calipers..and they do come raw .So you can paint or customize them ,also they have have black or shiny bolts.

That could be a problem regarding covers over my front black Brembos. Would have wanted front and rears red.

My suggestion. Paint front Brembos calibers red and then the Apex covers to match for the rear.
