I just wanted to post up a review of the C&L jack pad from American Muscle. It's actually a really nice piece. It's narrow enough to fit to the side of the main jacking points so that you can rest the car on the jack stands at those jacking points. The piece is about the diameter of a hockey puck, but obviously taller. My car is lowered about 1" on Steeda Progressives and my low profile Harbor Freight jack still slid underneath (barely) with this on the flat plate. This is a great alternative to jack rails if you don't want to mess up your pinch welds.

That's a solid looking jackpad right there.

Just to give others options, there's another jackpad out there that I used before installing the rails. It works the same way, put there's magnets in the jackpad to keep it in place on the pinch weld while you're maneuvering the the jack under. It's also a little more low profile, which is nice for clearance.

It easily lets you jack up the whole side of your car at once.

This is the one I have because my car is too low for anything else. I'd like that AM jack pad but it would never fit under my car with pad and jack together.

Can you air out and post a few measurements? I know
Settings vary but just a ballpark to see how much would need to be sliced off in order to be low friendly. There's a slew of guys out there on 2"+ kits, coils, and air that would benefit.

As an FYI, I think the low profile jack with C&L jack pad was about 4" tall in total. And the jack I have is pretty low, I think it's about 2 7/8".

Nice! Thanks for your help here. I think this might appeal to the low friendly crowd somewhat but the end all be all's going to be the low-pro.

Exactly. The second to last picture in my original post is the clearance I had with my car, and I'm lowered on Steeda progressive springs. It's a very tight fit. There is room in the C&L design to get the piece lower, but I don't know if it would be low enough for a bagged s550.

$70..... You could DIY with $5 hockey pucks cut in half spaced on the jack.
