burning smell

got on it pretty hard today. smelled a burning smell towards the rear? any ideas? car has 1400 miles on it?

Probably your tires haha. What did is smell like? rubber? any smoke?

the car is fairly low mileage and if you haven't gotten on it hard much it could be a number of little things associated with breakin period (clutch, lubircants, CATs )

could be your clutch (not from the rear, though), but it sounds like it also might be libricants etc. as well. I wouldn't worry about it.
