Very interesting that even with no spring the clutch pressure is not linear.
Heavy or light to be honest muscle memory will take care of it and after a few days you wont notice one way or another unless you're suffering from rickets or something.
Clutch feel with no spring (versus factory or steeda), for me, yes me, subjective me, was better. your mileage may vary
Today the Borla "plumbers nightmare" was installed. Perfect. Very quiet in "Q" mode. In sport, there is no rasp on downshift. Just good old rice crispy sound .............
Last picture gives a good view of the ground clearance. So far no issues and I drove through the lots at Home Depot and Lowe's. Both of which are speed bump mine fields.
Street tune from Livernois goes in tomorrow. I ordered the GT350 flat bottom steering wheel and short shifter from Steeda today. Shame on Ford for not giving us one. Hell, even my ST Explorer has one.
Lastly, the Diode Dynamics smoked side markers came by post today. They too will be installed tomorrow. Car is getting there piece by piece. Just as 'ol Johnny Cash said.
Good to hear about the ground clearance with the bulky Borla contraption... but it DID reduce ground clearance, which I find unacceptable. But glad you're satisfied with it . I'll leave my car alone, with the possible exception of the Steeda lower G-brace, and that's only IF there's absolutely no risk of it hitting anything, meaning above the level of the belly pan and chassis rails. Sitting perpendicular to the direction of travel makes it a lot more dangerous than parallel, like the Borla pipe.
